Updates for My Simple AI Help Readers

This page collects notes about bigger AI changes that matter for everyday users, along with changes to the book, the website, and the printable downloads mentioned in Volume 1.

How to use this page

This page keeps a simple timeline with the newest entries at the top. When a major AI headline affects how everyday people use tools like ChatGPT, or when something important changes in the My Simple AI Help project, I will add a short note here so you can see what changed and why.

You do not need to check this page every week. If you are signed up for the newsletter, you will receive the important updates there as well, and this page will act as a written record you can look back on when you want more detail. From time to time, I may also add a few notes that link to simple explanations of what a bigger AI change means in everyday life.

Current status

Last updated: February 2026. This page will grow over time as I add new entries and link them to plain-English explanations of what is changing in AI and in this project.

SystemScale: a “Digital Foreman” option for business owners

If you're running a business and want help answering the phones, setting appointments, and growing your reviews, check out the new SystemScale page. I call it a “Digital Foreman” because it handles the office chores so you can stay in the field. It’s separate from the book’s basic resources and is for owners who prefer a done-for-you system instead of a DIY project.

While Everyday ChatGPT introduces you to the potential of AI for everyday life, SystemScale is for business owners who want the follow-up on calls, appointments, and reviews handled in the background. It builds on the principles introduced in the book but takes them to the next level: a managed package, so you don’t have to design or maintain the system yourself.

New Volume 1 Reader Resources page and Volume 2 preview

I added a dedicated Volume 1 Reader Resources page that gathers the worksheets, checklists, and tools mentioned in the book so you can find them in one place. It links directly to the printable downloads and the online versions of the planner, templates, and AI Wins pages.

I also created a new Volume 2 preview page that explains what is coming in My Simple AI Help, Volume 2: From Confidence to Mastery, along with a simple button you can use to ask for an email reminder when it is ready.

Printable downloads page and book permission requests

The Printable Downloads page was updated so that each download opens or saves with a single click, and the file names match what is used in the book and on the Volume 1 resources page.

On the Contact page, I added a clear option for “Book permission request” and a short note about what information to include if you plan to use the book in a class, study group, or church setting.

Book update for Volume 1 readers and new QR codes

I updated Everyday ChatGPT to add additional safety reminders, a simple account setup checklist, and extra guidance for older beginners. I also added QR codes in the book that point to this Updates page so you can quickly check what has changed since your copy was printed.

On the website, I created this Updates page and tuned the contact form so you have more choices for the subject of your messages whether it is about the book, the website, quoting content, or accessibility.
